Construction & Evaluation
Overview of the Construction & Evaluation Division
The Construction & Evaluation division will evaluate objectives related to the administration of construction contracts and the post-occupancy evaluation of projects. The division will concentrate on matters pertaining to the bidding and negotiation processes, support of the construction process, and evaluation of completed projects. Candidates are required to exhibit knowledge and skills in the execution of construction contracts, construction support services (including construction observation and shop drawing or submittal review), processing of payment requests, and project closeout. Furthermore, candidates must also demonstrate an understanding and abilities in the evaluation of integrated building systems and their performance.

This division is divided into four sections, each focusing on a different aspect of CE. In parentheses, you’ll find the expected number of items (questions) of each section in the CE exam.

This section focuses on the evaluation of a project after occupancy. It covers the review of building performance, project closeout, and post-occupancy evaluation.
